WHO? Hilary Taylor

WHERE? Salt Lake City, Utah

WHAT? Hilary Taylor has been working in the dry cleaning industry for nearly a quarter of a century. She has spent the last nine years as the manager of Continental Cleaners.

THE ONE THING I TRY TO DO DAILY IS…

Exercise. Lifting weights, cardio, and running.

THE BEST MOVIE I HAVE EVER SEEN IS…

“Life Is Beautiful.” It reminds me of my aunt, who passed away from cancer. That was her favorite movie. Before she passed away, I remember watching it with her.

MY MORNING ROUTINE IS…

I’m not a morning person. I roll out of bed, brush my hair, brush my teeth, grab a protein drink, and I’m off to work.

I AVOID DISTRACTIONS BY…

Purposely leaving my phone out of reach. Or I’ll put it on silent. I just don’t want to be connected with my phone so much.

I OVERCOME ADVERSITY BY…

Praying.

THE MOST IMPORTANT LIFE LESSON I HAVE LEARNED IS…

Always try to have a positive attitude.

MY NUMBER ONE SMARTPHONE APP IS…

Instagram. I used to post years ago, but I’m not a poster anymore. It’s my Facebook. I just flip through and look at what people are up to.

WHEN I RELAX, I LIKE TO…

Be with my boyfriend Josh.

I AM MOST AT PEACE WHEN…

I’m relaxing.

MY SOURCE OF INSPIRATION IS…

My father (Dee Taylor). He always has the right answers. He’s always got good advice. Calm, patient, loving. Whenever I need something, he’s always very helpful.

I NEVER LEAVE THE HOUSE WITHOUT…

My phone.

A PODCAST I RECOMMEND IS…

Anything crime and “Sword and Scale.” Every episode is about a true crime story. I just love crime.

SOMETHING EVERYONE SHOULD TRY AT LEAST ONCE IS…

Running With the Bulls.

WHEN I WAS YOUNGER, I WANTED TO BE A…

Veterinarian. I love animals. I want a dog so bad, but I don’t live in a place where I can have a dog. When I have my own place with a yard, I’ll be getting a Golden Retriever.

A GO-TO BAND OR MUSICAL ARTIST ON MY PLAYLIST IS…

Chris Stapleton. I love Chris Stapleton, and I love country! He’s one of the best concerts I’ve ever been to. He sounds amazing, live. He’s good; very talented.

MY “SUPERPOWER” IS…

Sleeping. I get six or seven hours a night. If I’m really tired, I could sleep for like twelve hours.
